12 Point Buck

12 Point Buck is a collaborative duo comprised of Lethbridge artists Chai Duncan and Leila Armstrong. Chai Duncan completed his M.F.A. at the University of Saskatchewan and currently holds the position of Art Technician in the faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Lethbridge. Leila Armstrong acquired an M.A. in Media Studies from Concordia University, and went on to do doctoral studies in communications at Simon Fraser University. They have been working collaboratively for two years as 12 Point Buck. In 2008 their first video Deer Foraging was shown as Part of the Toronto Urban Film Festival (aka TUFF). From October through November 2009, they worked in situ at the Southern Alberta Art Gallery where they also launched their first publication, 12 Point Buck.
