Chris Boyne

Chris Boyne (b. 1984. Halifax, Nova Scotia) is a visual artist who uses his own history to explore the complexity of memory, identity and place. A natural storyteller, Boyne subtly invites his audience to share a sense of self-exploration. Currently, he is completing his MFA in Photography at Concordia University in Montreal. His work has been exhibited in Ontario and Québec and he is the recipient of several awards including the Omer DeSerres Award for Excellent Achievement in Visual Arts and the Dick and Gretchen Evans Fellowship for Photography.
