Gallery 44 Centre for Contemporary Photography is a non-profit
artist-run centre committed to the advancement of contemporary Canadian photography. Our goal is to contribute to the national dialogue on contemporary Canadian photographic art practices and to foster its support, understanding and appreciation.

We fulfill our mandate by offering a wide range of programming including: exhibitions of contemporary photography, CAMERAreach, an extensive education program in public schools; CAMERALINKS, our annual student exhibition; OUTREACH, a community program for youth. We maintain affordable darkroom facilities for artists and community groups, publish brochures and catalogues, offer weekend workshops for adults and house a resource centre to support photographic research.
