OUTREACH

As a community photo-based organization, Gallery 44 seeks to break down barriers to the arts. OUTREACH encourages youth to develop their creative process and understand the power of the photographic image.

Gallery 44's OUTREACH program provides photography workshops free of charge to youth who traditionally have not had access to photography as a medium of creative expression.

The OUTREACH program provides Gallery 44 with the vital opportunity to step outside the formal school system and build relationships with other non-profit community organizations, by offering photography workshops free of charge to youth who, traditionally, have not had access to photography as a medium of expression. These workshops are designed to meet the specific needs of each youth group involved, and are taught by qualified photographers who have a personal relationship with each community organization.
