CAMERALINKS

Gallery 44's annual non-competitive
theme-based exhibition, provides a unique opportunity
for Elementary and Secondary School students from the
Metro Toronto and surrounding area to exhibit their
photographic artwork in a professional gallery.

The theme for CAMERALINKS 2010 is
FAST FORWARD, REWIND, REPEAT.

NEW Exhibition Dates: February 18 - 27, 2010
Submission Deadline: Wednesday February 10, 2010 by 5pm
Reception: Thursday February 18, 3PM – 6PM

Eligibility
Any Elementary or Secondary School student in Toronto and the surrounding area is eligible to participate in the CAMERALINKS exhibition.

Secondary Student Requirements

  • Submit photo-based artwork responding to the theme of FAST FORWARD, REWIND, REPEAT.
  • Maximum of TWO pieces.
  • All photographs must be mounted on firm matte board no larger than 16” X 20”. DO NOT FRAME ARTWORK.
  • Students may submit a photo-sculpture, video work or installation that incorporates photography. (With alternative presentation needs, please contact Gallery 44 one month in advance to discuss space/equipment requirements).

Elementary School Requirements

  • Submit a maximum of two pieces no larger than 16” X 20”, on any theme.

ALL SUBMISSIONS must be clearly labeled on the back of the piece in the lower right-hand corner with the following information:

  • Student Name
  • Title of the Work (if applicable)
  • Name of School
  • Teacher Name
  • Teacher Email Address
  • School Address & Phone Number
  • Number on LIST OF WORKS FORM (Available for download below)

Information for Teachers
With your class submission, you must include a LIST OF WORKS FORM. Download the List of Works Form, and fill. Please include a copy of this form with your submitted works.

Deadline for submissions: All works must be delivered to Gallery 44 no later than
5 PM Wednesday February 10, 2010.
After the exhibition, all artwork must be picked up by March 31, 2010. Thereafter, Gallery 44 is not responsible for storing artwork.
