An internet project to foster and showcase photo-based work by Canadian youth. This is a Canada-wide call for work on the theme of The View from Here (Jun 15, 2005). Submitted images will be displayed on the Gallery 44 website, at our WEBLINKS Gallery.

Eligibility:

In order to enter WEBLINKS you must be residing in Canada and be 9-19 years of age.

Use your imagination to interpret the theme and push the boundaries of how it can be interpreted. We are interested in receiving any two-dimensional photo-based work, black & white, colour, digital, collage….

Technical Requirements:

All images must comply with the following guideline. Submissions that do not follow the requirements will not be posted.

Submission:

All images must be labeled with the following information:

Name
Age (at the time of the deadline)
Title (if applicable)
Description of work (optional)
Mailing Address & Phone Number (confidential)
E-mail Address (optional)

Maximum Number of Submissions: Two pieces per person

Before submitting to WEBlinks, the artist and your parent/gardian must reed the following phrase and understand that by submitting to WEBlinks, you are agreeing to the following terms:

I give Gallery 44 Centre for Contemporary Photography permission to use my WEBlinks submission on their website and promotional material free of charge. Credit must be give to me on all promotions.

Gallery 44 is not entitled to sell my artwork. If any inquiries are made, the gallery must attempt to contact the artist and pass along any details.
