Elements of Photography
Grades K - 8
Guided by the instructor, students make four collages, each demonstrating an element vital to photography – composition, texture, shape, and colour. After a discussion about light and basic camera techniques, each student takes photographs illustrating one or more of the elements. Students will then create a frame for their photo to enhance the presentation of their artwork. This workshop is designed to take place on two half-day sessions. If two workshops are booked by one school, the instructor will come for two full days - not four half days.
