PROOF
9 continues Gallery 44’s tradition of presenting a non-thematic
group show of the best of Canada’s emerging photo-based artists.
Selected by a committee composed of two former PROOF participants,
two exhibition selection committee members and the Exhibition Coordinator,
this exhibition focuses on the territory currently explored by the up
and coming Canadian artists of tomorrow. For many a first professional
exhibition opportunity, we are pleased to introduce these newcomers to
the gallery scene and to provide them with the exposure they deserve,
through the exhibition, our brochure, our website, and all of the other
promotional avenues available to us.
