Artist’s Statement
I'm a photo & mixed media artist based in Toronto focusing on documentary, portrait and landscape photography.
The images included are part of an ongoing project of street photography. Why street photography? I love waiting for moments to be captured – watch the chaos around me, soak up the energy and the ambition, the stress and the fear. I'm never looking for anything in particular, just waiting for something to find me. And that’s the beauty and the skill of it, being able to notice the inconspicuous and open my eyes to the individual stories unfolding around me. This element of story telling is everything to me – how moments come about, and how my subject is influenced by them.
