Bio
I am a Toronto-based photographer. With a focus on candid and street photography, my practice becomes a storytelling tool and a quiet meditation on our changing landscapes and how our communities interact in these spaces. My more personal and on-going work is documenting my family and archiving my parents' old photographs from Korea. In January 2021, I self-published a limited edition, 5.5" x 7.5", perfect bound, 48-page booklet of black and white photography that documents my Great Aunts Helena and Sylvia living in New York City.
My most recent photo-based contributions include Scarborough Arts' "Scarborough’s New View" Fall of 2020 photography exhibit, Canada Council for the Arts and the CBC funded project "The Time Being" (2020), and The Scarborough Museum's 2021/22 winter exhibit "Awaken Your Senses".
