The Gallery 44 Internship Program offers the opportunity for a student to gain valuable experience in Education, Exhibition, Production Facilities or Communications departments in a thriving artist-run centre with a long history of supporting artists at all stages of their careers.
Tasks include a range of administrative and research assistance related to programming, website, special events, and other aspects of the organization.
Internships are unpaid and open to anyone with a serious interest in contemporary photography and non-profit artist-run centre administration. Internships have been used for course credit in the past. We ask for a minimum commitment of one 6-hour day per week for a period of 6 months or 1 semester, and internships commence annually in the Fall.

Please note that our Internship Program is currently closed as we work to update the program to provide students with meaningful mentorship opportunities.
