Gallery 44 workshops provide unique opportunities for artists in all stages of their careers to learn, create, connect and be inspired. Sign up for weekday or weekend workshops, taught by national and international practicing artists, writers or curators with in-depth knowledge of the subjects they are teaching. Learn in small-group settings with others who share your love and passion for photography!
Participants who provide at least 5 days' notice of cancellation will be eligible for a full refund minus the Eventbrite fee. Cancellations made 48 hours prior to the workshop will result in a 50% cancellation fee, while cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice will be charged the full workshop fee. Please note that the Eventbrite fee is non-refundable in any instance.
WhatNext: New Gen Artist Series is a year-round free program from Gallery 44 that supports emerging artists aged 16–35 as they begin to shape their careers. Through seasonal virtual workshops, the series offers practical guidance on topics like freelancing, finding opportunities, writing for your practice, contemporary photography, and building sustainable professional habits.
The workshops are designed to be approachable and flexible, offering tools and advice that speak directly to the needs of early-career artists. By focusing on skill-building, connection, and care, WhatNext helps new-generation artists gain the confidence and knowledge they need to move forward in their creative journeys.

Mentorships start at $85/hr with a 2-hour minimum and include all materials and facilities used.
