Using Gallery 44’s production facilities, participants will learn how to cut window mats for their photographs with precision and how to use the dry mount press to mount photographs. Following a discussion on the materials, tools available and mounting best practices, Instructor Marco Buonocore will show participants the principles and mathematics involved in mat cutting and mounting. If time allows, participants can bring one photograph (8 x10 inch or smaller) to mat or mount.
