Community Member Position (Non-G44 Member)
We are seeking a community member to lend their unique perspective to the initiatives of the Membership and Facilities Committee (MFC). In this position you will contribute to guiding the direction of member focused programming at Gallery 44. Responsibilities include equipment acquisition, event planning, strategizing access and equity initiatives, and programming exhibitions for the Members' and Production Galleries. In particular we are looking for someone with lived or practical experience with youth programming and/or equity initiatives. This is a volunteer position with a 2-year term; the MFC holds 2-hour meetings about 6 times per year. Committee members each take on additional programming responsibilities with the expectation of a 3 hours/month commitment.
