Photographs could be the most ubiquitous artifact of our time. We impress our memories, ideas and important moments within photographs with hopes of preserving them to share at a later time. Digital photographs, especially those with strong information compression in JPEGs, can encounter flaws, also known as artifacts—aberrations that remind us that nothing lasts forever.
Artifacts brings together work from participants in the Low Res Photo Intensive Course, led by Darren Rigo and Camille Rojas.
Participating artists include:
Chris Cuevas, Spencer Davis, Eric Francisco, Felicity Hauwert, Samuel Lui, Theresa Ma, Ademola Oladipo, Jamie Thomson, Mica White, Sarah Wright
