CameraLinks is Gallery 44’s annual non-competitive, theme-based exhibition for Elementary and Secondary School students from the GTA and surrounding areas in Ontario. Every year, approximately 20 schools submit over 400 images showcasing a range of photographs created by students. This year, we will be exhibiting students photographic artwork virtually as part of our online exhibition launching on February 17, 2021.
The theme for 2021 is Home is a Feeling. Students were encouraged to explore the theme creatively while also thinking critically about the impact and importance home has had over the last year. What makes something feel like home? What kinds of meaningful connections have we had/made while at home? How has our understanding of home changed?
