What Matters? unites the artistic voices of Gallery 44 (Ontario) and Silverfish Photography Collective (New Brunswick) to explore a collective sense of uncertainty within the contemporary landscape. Amidst today’s diverse challenges, we may find our sense of hope eclipsed by an intrinsic instinct to survive and persevere. Yet, within this turbulence, this work resonates with a personal and pivotal narrative—a reclamation and re-illumination of what we choose to value and care about. In times of upheaval and unrest, there’s no better moment to reflect, rediscover and reaffirm what matters most.
