Bio
Jaewon Choi is a photographer from Seoul, Korea, based in Toronto, ON, Canada. His passion for photography is rooted in his interest in art, cinema, and journalism. During his studies in journalism major, he was introduced to the world of photojournalism. Ever since then, photography has been his greatest passion.
He has been capturing the world through his 35mm film cameras, focused on the everyday lives of people, the beautiful scenery of nature, and abstract patterns and shapes presented by natural and artificial structures and lights using exclusively black and white films.
Jaewon has been influenced by master humanist photographers like Henri Cartier-Bresson, André Kertész, and Elliott Erwitt.
