Bio
Kyungmin Kate Lee is a Toronto-based photographer and multidisciplinary artist whose work explores identity, memory, and perception through photography, mixed media, and installation. Drawing from personal history and cross-cultural experiences, she often incorporates tactile elements such as Braille and sculpture to challenge visual-centric narratives and invite multisensory engagement. Her recent project Seen and Unseen examines the complexities of belonging and fragmented identity through a poetic interplay of image, language, and form. Lee has exhibited her work in various galleries and cultural centres across Ontario and is a member of the Richmond Hill Arts and Culture Leadership Committee. She also works as a photography instructor and actively contributes to the Korean Canadian arts community.
