Almanac is our annual member exhibition highlighting recent work from Gallery 44 members. All members are invited to participate, and everyone is guaranteed inclusion of one piece in the show. This is a chance to share your recent work in the Main Gallery and be part of a vibrant community showcase.
There is no specific theme; Almanac serves as a snapshot of the diverse ideas, processes, and themes our community has been exploring within the last year and a half. The year's exhibition will be co-curated by Gallery 44 member Amara King.
Dates & deadlines
- Almanac will be on display from July 17 – August 1 in the Main Gallery
- Opening Reception will take place Friday, July 17, 6:00 PM
- All submissions must be received by 8:00AM EST on Monday, May 25
Submission guidelines

- You must be a current member of Gallery 44 to be eligible (Full or Day Member)
- All submissions must be sent via the submission form before the deadline (Monday, May 25 8:00AM EST)
- You may submit a maximum of 3 works for consideration by completing the submission form for each work
- Work shown must have been completed no earlier than January 1, 2025
- At least one image from each member who applies will be included in the show
- We may ask for alternative sizes and/or images based on wall space
- Artwork must be ready-to-hang (framed or finished professionally, no adhesive vinyl or loose prints)
